Surrey Wedding Photographer | Quirky Alternative Festival Wedding Photography at Painshill Park

Emily & Danny had an awesome quirky alternative festival wedding at Painshill Park.

When I spoke to the couple, I knew we’d get on straight away. We actually had mutual friends and shared a big love for Glastonbury festival. They decided to include a festival theme to their wedding, and it’s safe to say I was in my photography element.

Here’s what Emily & Danny had to say about their photos:

“Kirsty was recommended by a friend which made me feel really confident to choose her. After a bit of an Instagram and website stalking session, I fell in love with her work as soon as I saw it and her style was so me. Kirsty is absolutely amazing and she made what Danny thought was going to be a very awkward situation of having his photos taken, actually in reality very fun and relaxed.”

They kept the ceremony traditional and had a church service just around the corner from where Emily lived. This church is their family church and holds lots of sentimental ties (her brother and sister also got married there too). There were a few modern twists during the ceremony which got everyone laughing and really made it relaxed and fun. I just love the photos of Emily and her dad laughing together during the ceremony.

Emily’s fashion was also to die for. It was a boho dream. Her dress and flower crown went so well with her half up half down wavy curls.  Danny (because we can’t forget the groom!) also looked very suave in his navy suit and grey waistcoat.

We were so lucky with the weather and were able to make great use of Painshill Park. As it was early May the bluebells were out in full force, which made the perfect backdrop for couple photos. After dinner and speeches we had a little walk at golden hour and let off a few smoke grenades!

I just loved this Quirky Alternative Festival Wedding Photography at Painshill Park – big congrats Emily and Danny – you rock!
