6 Reasons to have a Micro-Wedding right now | Micro-Wedding Photography & Small Intimate Elopement Photographer

Here are my 6 Reasons to have a Micro-Wedding right now! I have loved the Micro-Wedding Photography & Small Intimate Elopement Photographer this year. Micro-weddings have become the only way to get married at the moment due to crappy covid, but I’ve seen such a beautiful side to these small weddings. They truly are a special kind of magical that I can’t quite put into words. Maybe the pandemic has caused so much uncertainty in all aspects of life, seeing two people commit their love to each other has become even more magical and important. We need happy times more than ever! So here are my 6 reasons to have a micro wedding right now.

1. Celebrate with your special ones

Maybe you have waited long enough, and perhaps you are just really looking forward to getting hitched to your love? Don’t delay and create a celebration that is magical for you both!

2.Spend time with your small guest list

A smaller guest-list gives you the opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones – which is something that is virtually impossible to do if you’re inviting 100s of people. Having a small wedding means you can spend time catching up with friends and family properly.

3. Be a moment in history

As I took this photo with everyone in masks and socially distanced, I realised that I wasn’t only taking Danielle & Josh’s special memories, but a moment in history none of us will ever forget. I am reminded that love is not cancelled. Love is permanent.

It might not have been the day they imagined or planned, but on this day Danielle and Josh got married and committed their love to each other. I have a huge amount of respect for Danielle & Josh, who decided after a rollercoaster of a year, their love and getting married was the priority for them. It was the most special day and emotions were high. I could not have been happier for them.

4. Treat Yourself!

A smaller wedding doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style, quality or the setting you choose to get wed – in fact, quite the opposite. If you’re swapping a huge guest list for just a handful of friends and family, then treat yourself! Splash out on that gorgeous dress or banging bouquet. Have a lush meal and spend the day making beautiful memories.

If you decide to have a smaller wedding, I would recommend having a great photographer and videographer to capture your memories so you can share them with all your loved ones.

5. Show the world that love wins

You don’t need a wedding to have a loving relationship, so why do we do it? Why is this moment considered so important in life? Well, truthfully we all know it comes down to that all important, all powerful, often allusive word: love.

Love is something that we all share, no matter who we are or where we come from, no matter what we may or may not believe in, each and every one of us believes in love. Showing the world that you love each other by getting married is one of the most happiest times, not just for the couple but for anyone who sees it. Seeing love in its highest form is a huge and powerful thing, that brings light and positivity into a world which can seem a very dark and lonely place for some. Show the world that love wins.

I saved the most important point till last. You get to marry your best friend, your life partner, your special person, the one you have chosen to love and be loved by. Committing your love to one another is all kinds of magical.

Whether you decide to elope somewhere just the two of you or if you decide to hold a micro small intimate wedding remember that small is just as magical. You will get married and you will have the best day ever!
