Clapton Country Club Wedding Styled Shoot
I loved being part of this super fun wedding shoot at Clapton Country Club. Clapton Country Club is the perfect place to have a micro wedding and ticks all the boxes. I was inspired by Lily Allen and David Harbour’s iconic Las Vegas wedding elopement. I thought, what if we did this retro vibe London Style? And here you have it! Cacti? Check. Burgers? Check. Motorbike? Double-check.
Retro London Love with a Laid Back Modern Twist
I wanted this shoot to give the essence of ultimate laid-back London with all the cool and modern twists. I was inspired hugely by classic Americana and wanted to convey this element in the shoot with leather, motorbikes, and burgers but with a Londoner’s twist.
We had nods to the classic 60s style with a mini shift wedding dress from Velvet Johnstone. I also adored the sleek puffed sleeved bridal jumpsuit by Paper to Lace Bridal, paired with a chic leather jacket. Both versatile looks that could be repurposed to wear again!
I also loved pairing the long traditional veil with the mini dress for a more striking look.
Sustainable Details with a Modern Twist
We created a versatile and sustainable decor element to inspire those who plan to have an intimate wedding. The unique succulent and cacti ceremony arch is a great sustainable backdrop option for a small wedding. The potted plants on the tables can also double up as wedding favours for guests!
