How to Feature Flowers in your Wedding Hairstyle
Today’s guest post comes from my very own hair stylist! Candra made my hair a boho dream, as well as making the most epic flower crowns for me and my bride tribe. She’s on my blog today to talk about how to feature flowers in your wedding hairstyle.
Hello! My name is Candra and my little business is called Wild Rose Hair. I am a bridal and event hair stylist who specialises in hair for the ‘un bridal bride!’ I like to do styles that are natural, undone, effortless whilst still being beautiful and special for your big day!
I like to work with flowers, I make beautiful bespoke headpieces and flower-crowns to match those loose natural hair styles I create.
Here are some ideas and tips on featuring flowers in your hairstyling and I thought I’d let you know all about the fab hen do flowercrown workshops that I offer – when all these events start happening again its going to be the BEST and most exciting time to spend with your closest people!
Featuring Flowers in your Hairstyles for the Bridal Party
Adorn your whole bridal group in flowercrowns!
The bride should have the biggest or most detailed flower crown and the bridesmaids should compliment this. An example of this is the Bride could have a mix of seasonal flowers and foliage, the bridesmaids could have one particular flower.
Using ‘off cuts’ from the bouquets
Asking your florist for ‘off cuts’ is a budget friendly way of incorporating flowers into your hairstyles for your whole bridal party.
The off cuts can be easily pinned into the hairstyles and look really pretty whilst also matching the bouquets and bringing the whole look together nicely.
The workshops I host are fun, relaxed and full of beautiful blooms to make a crafty afternoon/evening with friends one to remember!
Are you planning a hen do for your boho, flower loving bride to be? Or maybe you’re the bride yourself and you want to treat your friends to something special. Whichever the case we can custom make the session to suit your style. Each person will take home a beautiful faux flower-crown or headband that can be used again and again, maybe even worn for the wedding day itself when it comes around!
The workshops include all the materials you need to make your crown, a glass of bubbly each, a tote bag to take your creations home with you, and a small favour each to mark the occasion.
Thank you Candra!
