Are you planning a beautiful destination wedding?
As a destination wedding photographer, I can safely say that whether you’re getting married on the beaches of New Zealand, in a chateau in the South of France, or over a canyon in Las Vegas, there’s something pretty fucking epic about turning a wedding into a once in a lifetime trip/ mini-vacation for you and all your special ones.
Choosing a UK destination wedding photographer gives you so much peace of mind because it’s easy to meet up with them for a chat (getting to know your photographer is really important as you want to feel relaxed and comfortable around them on the day) and it also makes things like communication and planning much, much easier.
How the hell does it all work?
For destination and international weddings I always travel 2 days before the big day, this allows for any travel delays, and also gives me some time to have a look around the location. Plus I like to meet my lovely couples at their venue(s) the day before too. I will also bring my camera along and get some fun photos of you all chilling round the pool, or going for that 5 mile mountain walk.
My destination rates are simple: it’s my normal day rate (£1,500) plus expenses – so return flights and two nights’ accommodation; on average this costs around £300 for Europe. This is surprisingly often cheaper than hiring in a local photographer! I can promise you I’m a very cheap traveller and love a good Airbnb bargain.
Here’s what you get if you book me as your destination wedding photographer:
- Unlimited full day coverage – because weddings are about much more than just the ceremony and first dance!
- A pre-wedding shoot (guests arriving at venue etc and having a rad time)
- A USB of fully edited images 500+
- An online gallery to share with special ones
- Flights and all travel costs
- A relaxed, friendly and creative photographer!
